The Halifax has been promoting their brand fairly heavily recently across a range of television networks. The star of their adverts is an actual Halifax bank employee, a man named Howard. He stars in various formats as a cartoon character, journeying into space or even singing on top of a travelling skyscraper in a more recent promotion.
The Halifax offer a range of financial
products, virtually everything you could want including banks
account, various insurances, loans,
mortgages, savings and investments. Accessibility with the Halifax
is also very good with the advent of the internet online banking
and administration is available.
Halifax One Card – calling
this product ‘The Future of Credit
Cards’ it offers zero percent balance transfers in addition
to a generous zero point two five cash back on all purchases up
to a maximum of twenty thousand pounds per year. Other features
include travel insurance cover and purchase cover as part of the
package. The One card is certainly the companies’ most interesting
design with a black card with white star placed upon it, enhancing
the futuristic feel.
Whilst the one credit card is a
newer product from the Halifax their standard credit card products
are still in place. These include a range of affinity cards (unique
designs and partnerships with a range of companies including the
Car Phone warehouse and Cotton Traders) and charity cards which
provide donations upon a designated minimum credit card spend.
