easyMoney.com has launched with a credit card to be followed by fixed rate loans at a later date. Other products will also follow, but we will make sure that they are all individually sustainable and do not need to be subsidised by services that make profits.

The easyMoney.com credit card, which has been developed in association with Accucard, is a great example of this. Traditional credit card companies usually offer you one rate of interest and perhaps some other introductory offers to get you interested. This is great in the short term but it can't be maintained in the long term. After a few months they may increase your APR which means that you will subsidise the people who are then benefiting from their lower introductory APRs.
